BEST STAYCATION EVER!

I love being indoors, but, for all the right reasons and not the global pandemic we’re currently going through. Sigh!

When I was single, with NO child, I’d spend most of my time indoors watching a  movie, baking up a storm, enjoying some good wine or reading a good book. Ever since my little blessing, Mr Ace, came into my life, I’ve been forced to get out of my comfort zone and eat out more, go to play parks with him, explore different kid-friendly restaurants with him as well as enjoying stay-cations within Nairobi! This is a good thing as opposed to the opposite 🙂

Sincerely speaking, it has never crossed my mind to take a break and spend a night or two at a furnished home within the city. A hotel yes, but a furnished apartment? Not really. I’ve always thought that apartments we’re a bit expensive but yo’ I was pleasantly surprised 🙂 On average, a house would probably house like 6 people. Per night, you are probably charged $200. Then split this cost among all of you, that makes it an average of $33 per per person. Quite affordable!

I was lucky enough & had a chance to visit The Courtyard at Lavington, and your girl was STOKED!! My jaw literally dropped. You’re literally getting a 3-4 star experience at an apartment at a  CHEAPER COST. Chile! I live for affordable luxury and y’all know I live for a good save! The Courtyard embodies what I’d like to call “dream home” “dream apartment style” and now that I recently, well, about a month ago, moved to a new apartment, I’m definitely taking home a lot of inspo from here. 

I’m obsessed with interior design. Visiting this apartment and getting to see the attention to detail put in place to make it feel very homey and vibrant makes me so excited and I really look forward to owning my home in the near future. Dreams are totally valid! Can I hear an AMEN?

The Courtyard is under the TSG Group, and, hold up, this is not the only property they have, but they have several other homes that I’m really excited to explore after all this COVID19 madness is over urghhhh! So y’all better bookmark this and spoil yourself after all is done cause I’m going to. Sis needs a break. Sis deserves a staycation. Sis has been through a lot. Damn! Sis deserves to be spoilt silly. Sis is MEEEE!
