SHE GOT MARRIED!

Guess who is married now? Not me, obviously, but my best-friend did! As a friend, and watching her plan her wedding, flip out on us (oh lord! haha), sometimes even cry, my whole perception of wedding planning being a bed of roses definitely went out of the window. However, It is pretty exciting especially when you’re fitting the wedding dress, closing on the cake vendor (cause obviously the Cake is the business), but when it starts getting to you and you spend months trying to close on a venue, looking for a good photographer and some vendors almost flaking on you, it stops being pretty.

Despite the low lows which are pretty normal, the wedding turned out to be quite a beautiful experience. Can I give props to our MC? Goodness! I mean I hadn’t danced that much in such a  long time. He was so full of energy, gave us the psych we needed as much as our feet we’re hurting (you know how some brand new heels can be a b***), everyone was up on their feet for at least an hour. I was part of such an amazing bridal team. The ladies we’re so hilarious and so much fun and can we talk about the level of slaying here? Laawwdd! The groomsmen we’re just the best! I never expected to create amazing friendships with people I had never met or barely knew. All bridal outfits we’re tailored in the CBD and groomsmen suits we’re tailored in Eastleigh. I can go on and on and on about the wedding, so I choose to let the pictures speak for themselves. 🙂 With weeks of practice, we nailed the acapella 🙂 (Group for Hire…hehe) Ndanu is the kind of girl who will laugh in a sophisticated manner. Some of us can probably use some lessons..lol! Sawa Ndanu 😉

It was my first time helping a bride put her dress on. Oh My! It couldn’t have gotten any better as much as I had no clue. But I got it! 😉 Clearly the smile can tell it all.  I finally figured how this things are done. I’m open for hire but at a fee…hehe 😉Stunning, stunning STUNNING bride! “House so empty it needs a centerpiece…YES BREAD.” Slurp! Slurp! Gosh, my cake cravings are back guys. I thought I left this in 2016? Clearly not.
