DINNER IN THE SKY, ATHENS.

DINNER IN THE SKY, ATHENS.

Ever been to a restaurant that made you forget about the food? This is what happened when we had our first meal in Athens at Dinner In sky in Athens. Oh wait, and we we’re the first Kenyans! Yass! I honestly can’t remember half the things we ate or can I say none? I mean how can you even concentrate on what’s in your plate when you have been flighted 50 metres high with the most stunning views from the sculpturally lit Acropolis and Athens City?

#TEMBEAKENYA: RECLAIMING MY SANITY.

#TEMBEAKENYA: RECLAIMING MY SANITY.

Hey good people! I finally got time off for myself over the weekend and took a much needed break from mommying to just really sleeping eating and indulging a little because thirst and also somewhat reclaim my sanity and celebrate the fact that we continue to successfully raise an almost 5 month old. Yasss! I had to close the year with a bang-ish and actually give myself a treat or what I’d like to call “push present-s” besides shopping online (by the way the addiction is back in full swing and my entire wardrobe is now fashionova!!) Judge me not!

MATERNITY WEAR TIPS + WHERE WE ARE AT.

MATERNITY WEAR TIPS + WHERE WE ARE AT.

It’s very scary to imagine that God trusted me with raising a whole human being. Did you know that half the time it’s practically guess work?  There’s no manual to raising these little humans.  In between sore breasts, cries that drive me nuts and nipple grabs that have me screaming all over the house, I’ve finally managed to spare some time aside and share what was my go to maternity style/wear while preggers and do some catching up on our lives with a month old litu human. PS: I’ve been postponing this blog post for a while now since I’ve been trying to catch some sleep when baby is asleep but today, we’re doing this! Also, I felt I needed the break. Being in the house full time can drive you insane. I remember telling my very good ol’ fried Carey before I had baby that  I’ll stay in the…

BUMPING & GLOWING.

BUMPING & GLOWING.

There’s no denying that these pictures actually show that my body carried the baby very well apart from the morning sickness and high level emotions that weighed me down. However, today I choose to focus on the GLOW UP that came with the hormones. :D  We can’t deny the glow up here, well of course with the help of a super facebeat thanks to John K and the healthy  hair!  Yes, I finally rocked MY real hair here. Good-bye extensions!  For the longest time, I really struggled to get my hair on track and healthy as well as getting rid of my very bad acne and there’s no denying that  these pregnancy hormones did a very commendable job with my hair and skin and a few other areas! 😀 If you’ve been a keen reader, you’ll notice I’ve featured this dress here before I think It looks way better and…

EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER & LOVE OF MY LIFE.

EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER & LOVE OF MY LIFE.

Hey Yo!! Before we get into today’s post, I want to deeply thank everyone who sent their warm and sweet messages following the GRAND arrival of our little one. We are so grateful and we thank God. Now let’s get into the details of how those 40 weeks 5 days we’re probably the most emotional and draining weeks of my life because girllllllllllll what a ride. What a ride that was🤷. First off, with  today’s post, my intentions are pure ladies and maybe gents. I’m not here to discourage anyone but simply just sharing my own experience to hopefully enable you to be very open minded about pregnancy. I was so used to hearing women say what a magical journey it was and how they’d do it again in a heart beat and I expected it to be the same for me. Honestly speaking, mine wasn’t anything close to magical.…
