Whoop! Finally! I’m featuring one of my top favorite occasional-maxi dresses. I’ve had this dress for almost two years now and it’s been sitting a little pretty in my wardrobe all along. Howwwww? What a shame. Ha! But…no regrets trust me.

The weather in Nairobi though! One day its sunny then the other is literally 10-degrees. In this weather, shooting for the blog has become quite a challenge. I’m always crossing fingers that it doesn’t rain , we can work with the gloomy weather at least but we gotta do what we gotta do! :)Â

We all have this one staple wardrobe piece that we keep somewhere in our closets because for one reason or another we have nothing to pair it up with or rather we have made ourselves believe so. Well, those days are over! It’s interesting how a simple crop top changed my entire look here.

Any bold prints will always add some life in your everyday look and light up a room at any given point. I remember the first time I saw this fabric I was a little bit shy about it and felt the pink prints were way too bold and bright plus I had convinced myself pink wasn’t a color I’d consider in a fabric but when I tried on a sample skirt the tailor had sewn I was happy to carry it home with me!
